WICHITA FALLS - A lawsuit, filed by a former worker with Wichita Falls' wrecker service provider that claimed he was fired because he did not want to have a sexual relationship with the owner, Jody Wade, has been dropped.
Clayton Baxter filed the suit for sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation and said Wade preyed upon him until Wade fired him after Baxter refused his advances.
Baxter was seeking monetary relief of over $200,000, but less than $1 million.
An order of nonsuit was filed by Baxter, which in effect dismisses the suit.
There is nothing in the case file in the courthouse to indicate a formal court settlement was made, and no information on whether there was an out of court settlement.
Wade's company, Big Daddy's, handles all towing and impounding for the city of Wichita Falls.
