Lawton and Comanche Nation First Responders Receive Home Security Systems

This morning in Lawton nearly 450 First Responders received free home security systems.

State Farm and Canary came together to give the Lawton Police Department, Lawton Fire Department, and Comanche Nation Law Enforcement free devices that monitor everything from movement in their houses to a change in temperature.

Representatives from State Farm say they're glad they can do something to give back to their community.

"We all want for everybody to feel safe, whether it's the First Responder, whether it's you," Ami Kuhlman, State Farm Agency Field Leadership.

And we'll hear reactions from the First Responders coming up on KFDX 3 News at 5:00 and 6:00.
