Lawton Bondage Author Indicted

LAWTON - An author from Lawton, who authorities say lured a New York teen into his bondage lifestyle, is indicted by a federal grand jury.

Charles Michael Segaloff is charged with traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a juvenile, kidnapping, sex trafficking, and enticement of a juvenile.

If convicted, the 59-year-old could face up to life in prison.

Already a convicted sex offender, the indictment reports that Segaloff traveled from Lawton to Greenwich, New York, to pick up a 17-year-old girl to become a part of a '"fetish style culture and lifestyle."

It's also reported that Segaloff wanted to hold the girl to form a polyamorous family.

This case is the result of an investigation by the FBI, the Lawton Police Department, and the New York State Police.
