Lawton police say they've received several calls in the investigation of the city's third homicide, so far, this year.
Just after 6 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a house in the 2300 block of Southwest Evans.
There, they found the body of LaVonte Jackson lying on the porch from a gunshot wound.
Police say three men were seen leaving the scene in an SUV driven by a woman.
And, since putting out the plea for information police say they've received a few calls, and are following up on each one of them.
They also say the female driver is being sought for questioning in the case.
Investigators believe they know the motive for Jackson's murder but they are not releasing information on that.
