Lawton Man Accepts Plea Bargain


A Lawton man accused of robbing two people last fall and then stealing the car they were in, accepts a plea bargain in 30th District Court.

17 year old Tawaan Richardson is sentenced to 8 years deferred probation.
He also received a $500 hundred dollar fine.
Richardson was arrested last November for a robbery that happened a month earlier
Police say Richardson and another person  pointed guns at two occupants of a car in the 21 hunded block of Giddings, and threatened to kill them unless they got out.

They took one of the victims purse, both their cell phones and then left in the victims' car.
Richardson received a no bill on charges for unauthorized use of a vehicle in the same incident.
