Lemons was looking to hold off his democratic challenger, Dee Litteken of Joy.
Litteken is a 33-year veteran Texoma law officer.
Lemons came away with 64-percent of the vote.
"I feel really vindicated because when I came into this office, I made a promise to the citizens that I was going to put their safety first. I've done that for the last four years. It showed last night that they appreciate what we do and appreciate what I stand for," Lemons says.
He says he wants to continue to improve the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
He says he'd also like to increase the amount and type of deputy training, and he also wants to continue to make the office more transparent to the public.
