A Wichita Falls man is charged with embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Dallas-based energy company.
That's after the company noticed their senior landsman's expenses were too high, and audited his records.
Fifty-one year-old John Cox is charged with theft over $200-thousand.
According to an arrest affidavit, Cox submitted false expense receipts for reimbursement.
The documents also state Cox submitted altered receipts with inflated reimbursement amounts.
Company officials claim Cox stole more than $245-thousand.
He's booked in the Wichita County Jail on a $250-thousand bond.
