Two volunteers are from Wichita Falls.
One man is in Florida helping run shelters there and a woman who works in the local Red Cross office is helping run shelters in Tyler and Longview.
Those are open to people who flee Louisiana.
Also, the Wichita Falls Emergency Response Vehicle, or ERV, could be deployed at any time.
It can be used to take food and supplies to people affected by the storm.
Katrina Farmer, who's with the American Red Cross of North Central Texas, says, "With that, we have to supply a team of two to go with it. We've got our ERV team on stand-by, as well as the actual vehicle on stand-by, ready to go at a moment's notice if they call us and tell us that they need us anywhere."
The American Red Cross has enough supplies on hand to support and shelter 350-thousand people.
