A Wichita falls man is behind bars after police say he stabbed his neighbor in the back.
Police arrested 44-year old Jermaine Thompson after police said he got in an argument with his neighbor and then stabbed him.
It happened around 10 pm Thursday night at Taylor and Avenue I.
Sgt. Hart with the Wichita Falls police department said Thompson and his neighbor were sitting on the porch drinking beer when Thompson got hostile.
They said the neighbor tried to leave and Thompson stabbed him in his lower back.
Police later found Thompson on the 2400 block of Avenue I with a pocket knife covered in blood.
An ambulance took the victim to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Thompson was booked into jail, his bond has not been set at this time.
