LAKE ARROWHEAD (KFDX/KJTL) - A Wichita County man has a big fish story to tell and it's possibly one for the record books.

The Dean resident caught a Bigmouth Buffalo on Sunday at Lake Arrowhead.
To make it official, Lake Arrowhead officials have submitted an application to the Texas Parks and Wildlife and that will need to be verified by the department's Angler Recognition Program before it can be called an official new water body record.
The current record for Bigmouth Buffalo at Lake Arrowhead dates back to 1999 when a woman caught a 21.34-pound fish.
