Man Charged for Leading Officers on High Speed Chase

    A man who led a Wichita Falls police officer on a high-speed chase through Wichita Falls before being thrown off his motorcycle is now charged for the incident.
    According to an arrest affidavit, an officer saw 24-year-old Joshua Green traveling at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle down Southwest Parkway.
    The officer says Green and his female passenger were not wearing helmets.
    The officer says he tried to initiate a traffic stop, but Green took off, running a stop sign and traveling in excess of 100 miles an hour.
    During the chase, Green lost control on his vehicle and both he and the female passenger were ejected.
    He's being held in Wichita County Jail on $33-thousand in bonds.
