A 20-year-old man is charged in the accident that killed a Quanah woman in March.

Brandon Leija is charged with manslaughter.

His bond is set at $100-thousand.

Leija was driving the vehicle involved in the accident that killed 22-year-old Sage Marines on March 28.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Highway 6 on the south side of town.

Hardeman County Chief Deputy Paul Nix says a silver Ford Mustang ran off the road, became airborne, and hit a utility pole, snapping it in half.

Open beers cans were found at the scene.

Authorities say road conditions, speed, and alcohol all played a factor in the wreck.

They say Leija's blood alcohol contact was 0.10 and an analysis on the vehicle showed it was traveling more than 100 miles per hour three seconds before the crash.
