A man charged in Lawton's 9th homicide last year is found not guilty.

Klayton Jordan Kitchens, 24, was accused of shooting his friend, Christopher Moore, in May.

Kitchens admitted to the act, however he told police he shot Moore in self-defense.

The jury had the option to give kitchens a lesser charge of second-degree murder or manslaughter.

After three hours of deliberation last night the jury found Kitchens not guilty.
