Miles Bench has already twice been determined competent to stand trial.
Bench is charged with the murder of 16-year-old Braylee Henry on June 6, 2012, who police say had gone to the store in Velma to buy a soft drink and snack.
Police say Bench attacked Braylee while she was there in the convenience store where he worked in Velma.
Officers found blood in a store room.
A psychologist who had determined Bench was competent last June, later changed her mind and defense attorneys asked that a jury determine his competency.
That jury found he was competent to stand trial.
He and his attorney are due in court to discuss the most recent application tomorrow afternoon.
