A Clay County man is behind bars after authorities say he broke into a Henrietta pharmacy overnight.
Thirty-four year-old Kasey Eldon Rodgers is charged with burglary of a building in the incident, which happened just after midnight this morning.
Witnesses say they heard a loud noise, thought to be a gun shot, and saw a shattered window at the Henrietta Pharmacy.
They say they saw a man exit the pharmacy with a large plastic bag.
Authorities were notified and caught up with Rodgers down the road.
They say he surrendered to them.
Deputies say Rodgers had taken 19 bags filled with different prescriptions from the pharmacy.
He's being held in the Clay County Jail on a $25-thousand bond.
