Man Charged with "Relentlessly" Stalking Woman

A 45-year-old Wichita Falls man faces a stalking charge after police say he has been relentlessly stalking and harassing a woman since May.

Mickel True Marcum is jailed on $5,000 bond. According to the arrest warrant, the woman said Marcum lived in her apartment building and has been following her where ever she goes, even one time to church where security there had to get involved.

She also says he looks into windows at her and hides around the building waiting for her to come out, sometimes cornering her and yelling at her. She said if she looks away, he claps his hands in front of her face and tells her to look at him while he is speaking.

And, she told police once while she was trying to get away, he sliced his hand, causing it to bleed and threw himself on the ground screaming. Police said other residents witnessed some of the incidents, including a retired deputy who sometimes escorts her out of the building.
