The driver of a dump truck narrowly escapes after the cab catches fire following a crash.
The man was driving West on Highway 62 just before 6:30 this evening about half a mile from the Cache exit.
According to officials at the Cache Volunteer Fire Department, the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed into a guard rail.
They say the truck's fuel tank was punctured in the crash causing the cab to catch fire.
Fire fighters arrived on scene and put it out. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The driver was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital with moderate burns on his face, neck and arms.
His condition is unknown at this time.
