A man who held up customers and employees at a Wichita Falls Whataburger last year is sentenced to prison time.

Melvin Murphy was found guilty on two counts of aggravated robbery.

He's sentenced to 15 years in prison.

He'll receive 196 days credit for time served in jail while awaiting trial.

Police records say he is one of two men who entered the restaurant with guns.

The pair took cash from employees and purses and wallets from customers.

The other suspect, Kadeem Emmers, received 23 years in prison for his involvement in this and two other robberies in the city.
