A Houston man is sentenced for threatening his Wichita Falls girlfriend with a knife earlier this year.
Twenty-five year-old Eric Duncan was found guilty of one count of aggravated assault.
He's sentenced to seven years in prison.
An arrest affidavit states in January, Duncan climbed up the balcony of his ex-girlfriend's residence in the 1600 block of 32nd St. and entered through an unlocked back door.
It says Duncan grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen, confronted the victim, held the knife to her throat, and threatened to kill her.
Police say the victim told Duncan she needed to go get some clothes from a friend's house so she could go to work, left her residence, and called police.
That's when officers arrived at the residence and arrested Duncan.
