Twenty-one-year-old Devon Criss was booked into Wichita County Jail Monday for assault family violence, endangering a child and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Police say surveillance video helped them link Criss to the Walmart robberies in which victims say a gun was pulled and money demanded, and purses were grabbed from shoppers.
Authorities say Criss was the driver of a getaway car while another man robbed customers in front of Walmarts last year.
In his new charges, police say Criss was arrested after police went to a reported disturbance in the 2200 block of Harrison. They say Criss became abusive with his girlfriend who was trying to end the relationship and choked her and dragged her by her hair for about 100 yards and tried to force her into his car.
They say the victim's roommates pulled Criss away, but he then got in her car and sped off with her 1 year old child unrestrained in the car, almost hitting a tree.
He was stopped on Speedway and arrested and jailed on $35,000 bond.
