Officials with the Wichita County Sheriff's Office say a man who led them on a high speed chase and had to be tased is now being treated at United Regional, and he will soon be booked into jail.

Authorities say it all started a little after 5 Thursday evening when officers attempted to pull over a motorcycle that they say had license plates on it that they couldn't see.

Following a high speed chase, authorities say the suspect then ditched his motorcycle, which they say had stolen plates on it, and took off on foot. That's when authorities tased him.

They say the man had drugs on him, is no stranger to law enforcement, and is currently on parole. He was taken to United Regional for his injuries and then authorities say he will be sent to jail facing multiple charges.
