WICHITA FALLS, TX - The Wichita Falls City Council approved the Economic Development Corporation to amend their budget for the maintenance costs of the former Stanley Tools building over the next year.
The corporation has owned this building since April of last year.
So far, around $2.8 million has gone into the facility for repairs and operation expenses.
This cost of $185,000 over the next year will also go toward general expenses, repairs and maintenance.
The council also signed off on the corporation spending $38,000 on marketing expenses for the Stanley Tools building and the former ATCO building -- to get news businesses into those facilities.
