Maxx Green Makes Plea Agreement

A Wichita Falls bail bondsman, accused of sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl in Archer County two years ago, has made a plea agreement and will not have to serve time behind bars.

Maxx Delano Green, the owner of "A to Z Bail Bonds," was originally charged with aggravated sexual assault and has pleaded guilty to injury of a child.

He was sentenced to eight years deferred adjudication in 97th District Court.

Archer County arrested Green in July 2011, after the girl told CPS and police he took off her clothes and molested her.

She said Green made her "pinky promise" not to tell anyone.

Last September Green was also charged with tampering with a witness.

The affidavit alleged Green told a witness in the case to testify it never happened, and to practice answering questions in front of a mirror.
