More Charges For Woman Charged With Assualt

A Wichita Falls woman charged with aggravated assault last month in connection with a disturbance involving bricks, a baseball bat, and car ramming, has a new charge---child endangerment.

34-year-old Lashenda Mitchell was charged yesterday and is no longer shown on the jail log.

She was arrested July 20 after a woman said Mitchell threw bricks through the window of her home.
The woman also told police that one of the bricks hit her in the head.
Investigators say after that... Mitchell went to the intersection of Juarez and Humphreys streets and got into another altercation.

Witness says Mitchell was using her Honda to ram a Toyota Camry multiple times and also used what appeared to be a baseball bat to break windows on the car.

Both vehicles sustained major damage. Police say Mitchell said she had her 2-month-old baby in the back seat when someone on the sidewalk threw something at her car so she swerved to avoid it and hit the Toyota.
She said the driver of that car then rammed her car, so she rammed it. Police found the baby in a nearby house.

Mitchell has a long criminal record, including reckless injury to a child, and criminal neglect and aggravated assault.
