The festival featured German music, bands and traditional dancers.
There were games and rides for kids and vendors selling a variety of items from clothes to arts and crafts.
But most people say they came for two things the traditional food and German beer, served up by vendors traveling from across the country including Colorado, Arkansas, and New Hampshire.
Organizers say the festival has grown every year with this years festival bringing in almost 100 vendors.
And everyone seemed to be having a great time.
“It's a great environment, lots of good people, lots of good food, just great fun for the family and everyone,” says Michael Wilson from Lewisville Texas.
A portion of the money raised this weekend goes back to the non-profits that help put the event together.
If you weren't able to make it out yet the festival continues till midnight Saturday and will be open Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
