New Information Released About Two Women Arrested After Police Chase


Two women are still in jail after police say the driver lead them on a chase and then jumped from the moving car on Tuesday.
24-year-old Stephanie Baird and 34-year-old Alisha Miller are in the Wichita County jail today facing various charges in connection with the chase. 
Officers say they stopped a car in the 3100 block of Pennsylvania and the driver sped off after the officer tried to check IDs. They say a male passenger jumped out soon after the chase started and then at Miami and Grant the driver and female passenger jumped out.
All three were captured by police but officers say the male passenger does not face charges at this time.
Police say Baird, the driver of the vehicle was found hiding in  a shed about 20 minutes after running from the car. She is charged with evading arrest with a vehicle and a parole violation. 
34-year-old Alisha Miller  was arrested within a block of the car and is charged with failure to identify, various drug possession charges, and various traffic violations. Officers say a body search revealed miller hid a pipe with marijuana in it. in her underwear.
She has  theft, robbery, burglary, assault  and drug convictions and was on parole last year. In 2012 she was arrested by SWAT officers who fired tear gas into a home after she and another woman refused to come out of a home that had been broken into.
