Bowie student spring athletes are set to begin their season on new sport facilities.
Construction for Bowie High School's tennis courts, baseball and softball fields began in October.
It was part of a renovation project funded by a more than 9 - million dollar bond.
And school officials say the facilities are 90 percent complete.
"I believe they will be completed and students will be able to be on the fields next week," said Kelly Shackelford, Bowie High School's Principal.
Both fields feature AstroTurf, and their will be six new tennis courts.
