A new trial date has now been set for the former Wichita Falls police officer, involved in a fatal crash 3 years ago.

Teddie Whitefield's bench trial is now set for January 12th, 2015.

Investigators say three years ago, Whitefield was driving on Jacksboro Highway going at least 80 miles an hour without lights or a siren before the crash. Gloria Montoya, 13, and 18-year-old Yeni Lopez, who was eight months pregnant, were killed.

In March, Whitefield waived his right to a jury trial and entered judicial confessions to three counts of criminally negligent homicide. Investigators say he could still be found guilty of manslaughter.
