The quake with an epicenter 3.1 miles below the surface of Texoma occurred at 5:38am.
The location of the quake was 10 miles northwest of Healdton, Oklahoma and 23 miles southeast of Duncan.
Although the quake temblor was strong for Texoma standards, the USGS received only 10 reports of feeling the quake. Some of the reports of feeling the quake came from zip code 73442.
