Officials Still Looking over Tangarie's Financial Records

Vernon Business Development Corporation officials say a meeting about Tangarie Alternative Energy's finances was canceled Wednesday as the group and their attorney are still reviewing the company's finances.
Vernon BDC Director Sean Stockard says they've reviewed the majority of the company's financial records, and so far they say they haven't found anything suspicious.
They do say, however, that Tangarie default on their loans and agreement to create jobs.
The BDC approved $885-thousand in incentives in 2009 for the wind turbine manufacturer.
Tangarie also received a $250-thousand loan a little over a year ago, then an extension.
The company also received state aid.
The company pledged to create almost a hundred jobs in three years, but laid off its remaining employees earlier this year, citing difficulties getting parts.
