We have a fatal traffic accident in Texoma to report.

It happened around 10:30 Tuesday night in Baylor County northeast of Seymour near Lake Kemp on Highway 183.

Trooper Tony Fulton says 41-year-old William Steed from Cache, Oklahoma was killed in the crash.

Officials say Steed was driving north on 183 when he veered into a ditch, over corrected, and the car went airborne for a while before rolling several times down an embankment.

Fulton says Steed was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials do not believe he was wearing a seat belt.
