Oklahoma Prison Inmate Pleads Guilty to Helping Prisoner Escape

An Oklahoma prison inmate serving time for several convictions will now have to serve five more years after those sentences are served after he admits to helping an inmate in Waurika escape last October.

Twenty-three-year-old Vincent Worley pleaded guilty to assisting a prisoner to escape and received five years. He was already serving six three and a half-year sentences.

He pleaded guilty to helping Joshua Nelson escape from the Jefferson County Detention Center. He was caught the next day outside Purcell after he was spotted by a highway patrol plane.
