Old Wichita Falls Church Damaged in Tuesday Morning Fire

An old Wichita Falls church is damaged by flames early Tuesday morning.

Fire fighters were called to the former site of the Salem Primative Baptist Church on Hilltop Ave. in Wichita Falls.

Officials said the building's owner was living in the back. They said he came home around 3 a.m. and found the building was on fire. He called the fire department, and it took crews about half an hour to extinguish the blaze.
Authorities said propane in the back of the structure were feeding the fire when crews arrived.
A cause has not yet been determined, and crews are tallying up damage. No one was injured.
