One Dies in Wrong Way Crash in Dallas

Police said one person has died in a head-on crash following a wrong-way driver's trip down U.S. 75.

Richardson police were following a wrong-way driver in a silver Nissan Murano who was headed southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. 75/Central Expressway around 4 a.m. Monday.

Police say the Murano driver clipped a vehicle traveling northbound in the 9000 block of North Central Expressway and kept going. No one was injured.

A short time later, just north of Hall Street in Dallas, the driver of the Murano crashed head-on into a tan Toyota Camry.

The driver of the Camry died following the collision. The driver of the Murano survived the crash and is at an area hospital.
