In Baylor County authorities say a truck driver was killed when a Tahoe hit a semi head on.

It happened around 4 Monday afternoon on US 82 about 8 miles west of Seymour.

DPS Trooper Tony Fulton says the westbound SUV drifted across the center line into the path of the semi hauling cotton seed.

The semi driver 63-year-old Donald Ogle of Tennessee was killed in the crash.

Troopers say the SUV driver tried to swerve at the last minute, but could not avoid the collision.

Trooper Fulton says the semi driver died when his cab caught fire after the vehicles collided

The 24-year-old driver of the SUV was flown to United Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.
