An overnight injury accident leaves five victims in the hospital and one was later transferred to the Metroplex for further treatment.

It happened around 1:03 a.m. on Sunday at the 3000 block of Kell West Freeway.

Police say a dark gray GMC Envoy was traveling eastbound when the vehicle lost control, hit the grassy median, rolled multiple times and came to rest in the oncoming traffic lanes of the 3000 block of Kell West.

Four of the victims were ejected from the vehicle and then taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the fifth victim was taken by personal vehicle.

One of the victims was then taken by Air Evac to the Metroplex for further treatment a few hours later.

No names have been released and the crash is still under investigation by the WFPD at this time.
