A local marine got a homecoming surprise Sunday as he got closer to seeing his family.

The Patriot Guard Riders met the marine at exit 14 by Burkburnett and escorted him to his home off Missile Road.

Jordan Bull has been gone about 8 months.

He served with 4 different units in a variety of places including over seas.

Jordan said he was very surprised when he saw the patriot guard and his parents say they are thrilled to have him back home.

“It's amazing, we're so happy, tickled to death, couldn't wait, when your kids of off to college you know you're still close to them, but when they go serve their country, you lose contact with them sometimes, he was gone for thirteen weeks to boot camp, deployed 8 or 9 months, you don't hear from him every day,” says Steven and Stacey Bull.

Steven is a member of the Patriot Guard the organization presented Jordan with a plaque thanking him for his service
