Jury selection is set to begin in Fort Worth in the murder retrial of Justin Green.
Green is accused of shooting his roommate and fellow Iraq war vet Jose Ramirez in a home outside Petrolia in 2007.
Authorities say Ramirez's body was found in a shallow grave on the property five years later after authorities received a tip. Green claims it was self defense, because Ramirez was reaching for a gun during an argument.
The jury in his first trial last August could not reach a unanimous verdict. Prosecutors say it was moved to Fort Worth in hopes of finding a jury that hasn't heard about the case.
