Thirty-year-old Joseph Glidewell is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest.
He's pleading no contest to those charges.
Prosecution and defense attorneys are requesting he be sentenced to 20 months in state jail.
In mid-November, a Wichita County sheriff's deputy tried to stop Glidewell along Highway 277 for driving a stolen Jeep.
Glidewell fled from the deputy and was eventually apprehended in Baylor County.
Then while awaiting to appear before a judge at the Baylor County Courthouse, authorities say Glidewell escaped, stole a farm truck, and took off.
A Wichita County deputy shot out the tires of the stolen truck, and Glidewell was then taken into custody a second time.
