A man involved in an alleged assault and possible kidnapping case last night is now behind bars.

Police originally responded to a possible kidnapping call just after 11 Tuesday night, after a man covered in blood ran to a house on the 3000 block of Saxet screaming for help.

The man told police he and a woman were sitting in a truck in the parking lot of Hirschi High School when three unidentified men pulled him from the vehicle, beat him up and took the woman away.

He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police later found the woman in 27-hundred block of Iowa Park road.

She was taken to United Regional by a private vehicle.

There is no word on her condition.

Police said the victim, 23 year-old John Warner, was taken from the hospital to the jail.

He was arrested on two warrants out of Oklahoma City for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police said the truck was impounded because it was reported stolen out of Oklahoma City.

The incident is still under investigation.
