Police Arrest Man After Finding $50,000 Worth of Meth

Wichita Falls Police find about $50,000 worth of methamphetamine while searching for a man with outstanding warrants.

Andres Ortiz is charged with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Police say around 11 pm Wednesday they found Ortiz near North 10th and Stratford.

Then officers say he had marijuana and nearly eight grams of meth in his possession.

They also say they found 59 grams of Xanax and Hydrocodone pills and more than 430 grams of meth in his vehicle.

Ortiz's bond is set at more than $112,000.
