For the second morning in a row, a Wichita Falls hotel is robbed.
Just before 3 Tuesday morning, police say two men walked into the lobby of the Holiday Inn on Central Freeway. Officials say one man carried a crowbar, the other with something similar to a 2 by 4.
Sgt. Harold McClure says one man jumped over the counter, while the other got into an altercation with a witness in the lobby. Mcclure says that person was taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor cuts and bruises.
Police say the two men got away with an unknown amount of cash.
Sgt. McClure says, "we believe according to witnesses that they possibly got into a dark colored sedan, and headed southbound on the freeway."
Early Monday morning, the same hotel was robbed. Police say one man entered the hotel carrying a black crow bar. Officials say he jumped over the counter and threatened the clerk and demanded money out of the cash drawer.
Police have not made an arrest in either case. If you have any information, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888.
