Twenty-eight year-old Tierra Wilson is charged with three counts of abandoning or endangering a child and possession of marijuana.
An arrest affidavit states WFPD officers went to Wilson's apartment in the 2200 block of Harrison on a check welfare call.
Officers say they found three children home alone inside.
The affidavit says the home smelled strongly of urine and feces and the floor was sticky, presumably from urine.
It states there was trash and clothes littered throughout the residence.
Police say they found open alcohol containers, marijuana, and a kitchen knife all in the children's reach.
After about 30 minutes on scene, officers say Wilson showed up and was intoxicated.
She reportedly told them she left so she could go buy more beer.
Wilson is jailed on $15,500 in bonds.
