Wichita Falls police say a man who crashed his car on Seymour Highway last night was driving drunk.
Forty-eight year-old Jeffrey Mark Cash of Henrietta is charged with driving while intoxicated.
He has one prior conviction  for this charge.
Officers say Cash was driving a truck near the intersection of Seymour and Kemp when he hit a fence and knocked down a light pole.
First responders say he tried to leave the scene on foot before police arrived.
He didn't get too far, and was arrested a short time later for DWI.
Two dogs in his truck were taken by animal control.
