A 21-year-old Holliday man is jailed on two different charges after police say he admitted to breaking into a house to steal copper wiring.
Zachary Bownds is charged with theft under $20-thousand and burglary of a habitation.
Police say Bownds lived in a duplex in the two-thousand block of Jones St. and broke into the back of the duplex to steal the wiring.
Officers say they found the stolen wire in Bownds' residence.
They say Bownds told them he was too messed up on dope to remember what happened.
Police also say he caused about $3000 to $5000 worth of damage to the home.
He's jailed on $80-thousand worth of bonds.
