An arrest affidavit states police noticed a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Gregory Wilson swerving in traffic.
Officers pulled over the vehicle and said Wilson had bloodshot glossy eyes and smelled strongly of alcohol.
They say they found open beer cans in the vehicle, as well as Wilson's six-year-old son asleep in the back seat.
Police say a blood test showed Wilson had a B.A.C. above the legal limit.
Wilson is charged with driving while intoxicated with child passenger.
