Police: Wanted Man Arrested in Connection with Bridwell Park Shooting

Wichita Falls police say a second arrest has been made in the shooting of a 20-year-old man at a Wichita Falls park earlier this month.

Twenty-two year-old Joshua Lee McClelland was arrested last night in the 900 block of Airport Dr.

Officers say McClelland has an outstanding warrant for his arrest for the charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence in the shooting.

According to police, 20-year-old Dustin Pilkington was shot in the stomach with a 25-caliber handgun.

Another man, 22-year-old Treven Culp, was arrest by WFPD earlier this week for aggravated assault in connection with the shooting.

McClelland is in the Wichita County Jail on a $100-thousand bond.
