Several of you reached out to KFDX saying you headed out to cast your ballots on election day only to find out you were at the wrong polling location.
Wichita County Clerk Lori Bohannon says even though the school district signed a contract for the county to run the election, officials still had to use the school district polling locations across the city.
Bohannon says, "For a school election it probably hasn't been different, because those are the school polling locations. They need to remember this is not a county election. County locations are different than the school and city locations."
Bohannon says there were 14 polling locations across the city for this election.
Those polling locations were posted here on Texomashomepage.com for several weeks, as well as other publications and websites including the WFISD website.
