Firefighters battling a large wildfire near Possum Kingdom Lake are still counting on rain chances to help them douse the flames.
Nick Harrison with the Texas A&M Forest Service says the fire is now 80 percent contained.
He says high humidity today has kept the fire under control, but he says with thunderstorm chances come heavy winds, so firefighters have had their work cut out for them making sure high winds didn't spread the flames.
About 30 homes had been evacuated after the fire started on frontier unit road about four Monday afternoon.
No injuries have been reported and no structures were damaged.
And no word yet on what caused the fire.
