Quincy Buckner was originally charged with murder in the July 4, 2007 shooting death of Christian Gallegos on Lansing St.
Then, that charge was lessened to deadly conduct, and he was found guilty on April 1, 2010.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Then his attorney filed for community supervision May 4, 2010, and Buckner was granted probation.
Court documents allege Buckner is now in violation of his probation.
They state he's delinquent more than $200 in community supervision and Crime Stoppers fees, which were terms of his probation.
Documents also state Buckner caused bodily injury to another man on May 15, by hitting him with a closed fist, which was another violation of his probation.
Prosecutors are asking that Buckner receive two to 10 years in prison for violating his probation.
He's set to appear in 30th District Court August 24, where his punishment will be discussed.
